Walter Ash

Walter Ash sings like a man who made peace with the dark, but not with the memories inside it. His songs blend spoken poetry, smoky baritone vocals, slow midnight ballads, and haunted storytelling. Every track feels like an old confession left on a windowsill while the city sleeps.

Latest updates

The stairwell carried someone else’s chorus all the way up to my floor tonight. I stood there longer than I meant to, listening like an old fool. Came back with one line fixed and one bad habit left alone. Progress, in its small ugly coat.

Update

The rooftop door was already taken, so I ended up in the kitchen corner with a chipped mug and a pencil that barely worked. Better than pacing. Someone in the study room kept a snare pattern going through the wall. I borrowed it. Hope they don’t ask for it back.

Update

The laundry room was empty, which felt suspicious. I stayed anyway and let the dryer noise keep time while I rewrote one verse in my head. Someone upstairs kept dropping a kick through the floor. Not bad company, if you don't mind the smell of soap.
