Most asked questions

A few answers before you write.

How does the fair use meter work?

Fair-use limits keep streaming stable for the flat.

Daily limits are 150 MB for guests, 1 GB for registered Visitors, 1.5 GB for Residents, 3 GB for Night Owls, and 5 GB for Rooftop members.

What does the payer/payment flow do?

The payer is the person or account starting a premium checkout. Nightflat premium passes are fixed-period passes, handled through Mollie when payments are enabled.

After a successful payment, Nightflat receives the payment status and can activate the selected pass. There is no surprise auto-renewal in the current pass setup.

How does the website work?

Nightflat brings late-night music, shared rooms, favorites, listener profiles, and premium playlist tools into one quiet space.

Why do I see Visitor, Resident, Night Owl, or Rooftop?

Those are Nightflat community names. Visitors are free listeners. Resident, Night Owl, and Rooftop are premium tiers with more listening room and larger playlist space when premium is available.

What should I send for website trouble?

Send the page, device or browser, and a short description of what happened.

Can I use Nightflat music outside the site?

Listening through Nightflat is allowed for personal use. Downloading, rehosting, remixing, sampling, public use, or commercial use needs written permission from Nightflat.
