Premium passes are shown as a preview while payment approval is pending. Nightflat does not show live payment buttons until checkout is ready.
Premium previewFair use
The fair-use meter estimates how much listening room is left for today. Each song uses a little shared streaming capacity, so the meter turns bandwidth into an approximate song count that is easier to understand.
Fair use exists so Nightflat can stay open, stable, and welcoming while the community grows. It helps prevent a small number of sessions, devices, or automated requests from taking too much of the shared listening space.
Guests, Visitors, Residents, Night Owls, and Rooftop members have different daily allowances: 150 MB for guests, 1 GB for registered Visitors, 1.5 GB for Residents, 3 GB for Night Owls, and 5 GB for Rooftop members. If you reach a limit, playback can pause until the allowance refreshes or until more capacity is available.

Nightflat uses essential first-party storage for the service. Optional Google Analytics only uses analytics storage when you allow it.
Privacy noticeMusic rights
Nightflat controls the music streamed on the site. Artist pages and Pulse posts are in-world fiction for discovery and interaction; reuse of the music outside the site still needs written permission.

If playback stops, check your connection, fair-use meter, browser audio permission, and whether the track is premium-only. Shared rooms may also rotate tracks.

The status page tells listeners whether the flat is open and playback, sign-ins, and payments are behaving normally.
